Yes. It is true.. I am ADDING a post to my xanga. Why might you ask...? Well, I have a paper due on Wednesday that I haven't started, and I've done everything to avoid it. Checked emails, gone on aim and checked away messages, checked people's xangas, spent way too long at dinner, took a nap, checked my phone. There really is no more avoiding this paper. I've been putting it off for the last 4 weeks. You know I'm desperate when I resort to my xanga, which I haven't written a real entry in since Dec. Dang all you people who are already on summer break...

As soon as I get through Wednesday it'll be smooth sailing until finals. My last composition in spanish is due Wed, I took my final test in that class today, I'll have one more ling assignment, and other than that, just reading until the end of the year. SWEET. Wednesday however, I have that stupid 5 pg. paper due for History 4 and my last midterm for ling. So yeah, after wednesday, life will be all good.

Summer. Dude, it is soooo close, therefore motivation has been very hard to come by. Actually, I'm going to have to echo Alia and say that it definitely is Senioritis all over again. Really, I thought it was over too, but noooooo. I've been having a horrible time getting motivated this quarter. Thank God I'm going home this weekend--I think I'll need that to get me through mid-June! I get to see my Mandy and my sweet Sarah. School's a lot of work, and I do definitely love it, but being the sentimental hopeless romantic I am, I can't wait to just be able to go to my favorite places and see my favorite people again. I think no matter where you're from you always long for home.

You know, I could seriously go on forever in this thing about all the stuff that's gone on and all the growing I've done maturity-wise, academically (I really had no academic life in high school...academics were a joke to me then!!),  emotionally, physically (put on a few thanks to Hedrick fine dining!!), but most especially and most thankfully spiritually. I can't believe how much God has been doing in my life--lots of ups and downs but a shower of joy and hope to accompany all of the crazy things that have happened this year. It's been a great year and I'm so blessed to have met the people I have and to have done the things I've been able to do. Like I said, I could go on forever, so if we haven't talked in a while, just call me sometime and we can chat about our years. Well, I really ought to start that paper, but in parting (who knows when I'll write again) I'll leave you with this link which is like my online photo album thingamajigg. Adios!!
